The adventure begins! We toyed with idea of buying a lot or house on Smith Mountain Lake. We looked and looked and decided on the lot at 433 Surrey Lane, in Huddleston, VA. We bought this lot in 2011 and put our 5th wheel on it to spend weekends during the summer. It already had an awesome dock with two boat slips, boathouse and a floater. We decided to make the deck of the dock bigger and changed one of the boat slips to just fit two jet skis and not a boat giving us more deck room. It was a great idea and really made a difference in our space. We added DirectTV and a TV to the dock....yes a TV. We enjoy sports, so it adds something else to do while floating in the water or waiting out storms. Or in the am before the kids are up or after dark. Mike bought us a SeaDoo to pull a tube or wakeboard and we bought a huge pontoon to hold 20+ people. We had a great first summer in our new adventure with lots of great friends.
